Bad American! You should have purchased 3-4 new pairs of shoes during the timeframe you used only this one. Think of the Chinese worker, the kid in Vietnam, the woman in Cambodia who depends on your money to feed her family. For shame!

Somewhere in Thailand or some such, a small child is crying over an empty bowl that could have been filled with rice, if not for your selfish frugality.
Have you never heard of shoe repair stores? There is one on nearly every block in NYC and, if you had just taken these PUMAS there before they had become irreparable, you would never have to buy another pair of shoes again.
"Frugality"? I think "cheap" might be more accurate. Or "lazy".
Clearly you are straight and single because:
(a) no self-respecting gay guy would be caught dead wearing kicks in such a state of disrepair, and
(b) no wife/girlfriend would allow their husband/boyfriend to leave the house with such shameful, shoddy footwear. They would be swiftly thrown in the trash and replacements would be purchased.
As the gf, I assure you I have never seen these shoes before this pic went up. At least he knew not to wear them around me...
