Good question. But are there really Nazi statues in Germany today? The Nazis were building a reich, in a war of conquest. Most Southerners fought for local reasons, and went in to defend, not annex.
There are no NAZI statues in Germany. That was my point. And I think it important to consider the true nature of the Confederacy, and not the farmer folk who fought on its behalf.
A Confederacy, may I add, that is still at work today, fucking up America. It's called the Republican Party these days.
